The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a South African initiative that connects unemployed youth with work experience opportunities. It aims to create one million work experiences for youth to help reduce unemployment and build a more inclusive economy.
Objectives:
- Provide 12-month quality work experience
- Improve skills and job readiness
- Partner with businesses and government
Who Can Apply:
- South African citizens aged 18–34
- Currently unemployed
- Not in full-time education or training
- Not previously participated in YES
