Health Merchandiser - Hemmingways
Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Health Merchandiser for their Hemmingways store. Your responsibilities lie in ensuring Dis-Chem's basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Provide customers with outstanding customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Up to 6 months' retail experience
- Computer literate - MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous
- Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category
- At least 1 year retail experience
Job Responsibilities
- Restock merchandise as per business requirements
- Ensure delivered stock is stored and packed correctly
- Maintain full product range on shelves at all times
- Facilitate stock rotation (First In First Out)
- Assist with general stocktaking
- Ensure shelves are neatly presented with correct labels and pricing
- Build and maintain merchandising displays
- Assist with back shopping
- Resolve customer stock queries

Advantageous:
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and FMCG industry
- Product and category knowledge
- Ability to analyze ZMORE reports
- SAP and Unisolv experience
Special Conditions
- Willing to work retail hours
- Physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes
- Reliable transport and/or reside nearby
- South African citizen
- Clear credit and criminal records
